100 Years of Gateshead Library (Copy)

March 31st of 2026 marked 100 years of Gateshead Library. Gateshead Library is in the heart of the Gateshead Community and has been serving its residents for a centenary.

It was an absolute pleasure to be commissioned to produce a centenary collection of products for Gateshead Library. These products were designed alongside workshops with members of the public, from young people to adult residents and staff. We gathered people’s stories and love of books to help us craft the perfect collections for Gateshead Library.

All of the products were made in Britain, and many of the items were also made locally by our tried and tested local supply chain. Below you will see a series of images of the different products that were produced for the collections.
